Quality Guarantee & Domestic Protection Protocols

01. Understanding Custom Craftsmanship

At Artofmetalsigns, a subsidiary of Jeff Mullis Clothing, we specialize in bespoke interior and exterior art. Unlike mass-market retailers, our inventory is non-static. Every metal sign is laser-cut and every neon tube is hand-assembled based on the specific parameters of your order. This Print-on-Demand (POD) methodology ensures a premium, personalized product but also means that each item is a “Final Sale” by default.

Because these items are unique to your specific identity, home, or business, they cannot be restocked or resold to other clients. Therefore, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for reasons related to “buyer’s remorse,” change of mind, or accidental ordering. We encourage all customers to double-check their custom text, color choices, and dimensions before finalizing their purchase at checkout.

02. Our 30-Day Quality Protection Guarantee

While custom items are generally non-returnable, we provide an extensive safety net to protect your investment. If your order arrives with a defect or error that originated within our manufacturing facilities or during domestic transit, we provide a full replacement at zero cost to you within 30 calendar days of the delivery date.

A. Structural & Electrical Defects

This covers flaws such as jagged laser cuts, incorrect metal thickness, peeling powder coating, or failure of the LED/Neon circuitry to illuminate. Our Santa-based quality team ensures these are rare, but we provide full protection if they occur.

B. Shipping Damages & Misfortunes

Heavy-duty steel can still suffer from extreme transit impacts. If your sign is bent, fractured, or if the protective packaging is compromised upon arrival, we hold our domestic carriers accountable and replace your item immediately.

C. Design Discrepancies

If the spelling of your custom name, the date on your sign, or the color of your neon light does not match the specifications submitted in your original order, this is considered a manufacturing error eligible for full replacement.

D. Logistics Thất lạc (Loss)

If a package is confirmed as lost in transit by the carrier (FedEx/UPS/USPS) and has not moved for more than 15 business days beyond the estimated delivery date, we will initiate a priority remake of your order.

03. Expedited Resolution Protocol

To minimize the hassle for our customers, we do not require you to ship heavy, bulky metal pieces back to our headquarters in Santa, NM. This “No-Return Necessary” policy saves you time and eliminates additional shipping costs. To resolve an issue, please follow these precise steps:

STEP 1
Documentation (Within 72 Hours)

Email support@artofmetalsigns.com with your order number. You must include clear, high-resolution photographs of the damage/error and the shipping label on the original box. This evidence is required for us to file insurance claims with our carriers.

STEP 2
Internal Review (24–48 Hours)

Our administrative team at 1012 Marquez Place will review your submission against our manufacturing logs. We will notify you of the approval for a replacement or a partial/full refund based on the severity of the issue.

STEP 3
Priority Fulfillment (3–7 Business Days)

Once approved, your replacement bypasses the standard queue and is placed in priority production. You will receive a new tracking number immediately upon shipment.

04. Financial Reimbursement Policy

In cases where a refund is deemed appropriate (e.g., the product cannot be replaced or a significant manufacturing error occurred), we follow a strict disbursement schedule:

  • Original Payment Method: All refunds are issued back to the credit card, debit card, or digital wallet (PayPal, etc.) used for the initial purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different account for security reasons.
  • Processing Time: Once initiated, refunds typically take 5–10 business days to reflect on your bank statement. Please note that this window is controlled by your financial institution, not by Artofmetalsigns.
  • Late Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund after 14 days, please contact your bank first, then reach out to us for a transaction ID.

05. Cancellation & Modification Window

Because our production partners move swiftly to maintain our 10–15 day delivery promise, the window for cancellations is extremely narrow. Order cancellations or design modifications must be requested within 12 hours of purchase.

After the 12-hour mark, your design file is sent to the laser-cutting machines or assembly floor. Once the physical production has commenced, the order can no longer be cancelled or refunded as the materials have already been permanently altered to your specifications.
